The company is working with clients who follow a more intimate style of Hospitality concepts, and who want to solidify their position in the market and grow in countries such as Mexico and Saudi Arabia, where some of the most innovative and sustainable hospitality brands will be opening in the near future; so they needed branding that would stand apart from other competitors, and that could reach their target audience with a captivating aesthetic.
CHALLENGE
The connection of people and intimate experience is crucial in developing this branding that is part of a niche, but will eventually develop globally - especially in affluent countries in the Middle East. One of the missions of the company is to take time to understand the client’s culture and then to find people that share the same vision.
To get people thinking differently about recruiting, a simple but meaningful aesthetic was composed by studying the small section of the market they want to reach. This brand chose a mystical quote for their tagline by the 13th century, Persian Poet, Rumi, "what you seek is seeking you," to express that the things you desire are seeking you in the same way you are seeking them; to live in the present moment, and look for the things that you dream of.
It relates to the 'law of attraction' and calling in your desires. In other words, listening to your intuition, pursuing your dreams, creating your ideal reality, and knowing that all the things that are calling you are there for a reason. If you follow them, you will experience more joy and fulfilment and things will begin to fall into place.
The goal of this brand is to find the right match to the right people through a more warm and welcoming approach than classic recruiting companies will use. They want to link the candidate to their dream job and give them the power to realise who they really are and what they can achieve.
SOLUTION
Outelier was a concept that was brought to life with a unique identity and visuals.
In order to bring the concept to life, a versatile and accessible brand identity was created. This would appeal to an audience interested in traveling and hospitality.
Connecting lines, calm tones and natural materials were used to develop this identity that reflects the forward thinking ethos of the company together with their friendly, warm and human approach.
The identity is based on the concept of communication and imaginary lines that magically connect people. Natural materials, simple colours and travel photography, with footsteps, highlight this image of the destination that you can only reach through a journey.
